Refund policy

RETURNS:

 My aim is to please and if there is a problem with your order then I would like to hear about it so I can sort a resolution for you.

Please note my products are handmade and therefore there will always be some variations in wood colour, thickness, grain effects and finishing.  This is the nature of wood!

However, I do warranty the products in accordance with the terms of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. This means that if your product is defective or fails to be reasonably durable in use, then I will replace it or refund you accordingly.

How long should a wooden stirrer last? A difficult question because it depends on what it’s used for, how it is washed (a dishwasher can destroy a stirrer with a single wash), and how often it is used. With this is mind I provide a  6 month warranty against breakage, but I will always keep an open mind if you have a problem outside this period.

PLEASE BE SURE TO ADVISE ME OF THE PROBLEM BEFORE RETURNING THE GOODS.

Please check your package carefully for any signs of damage. If my goods don't reach you in perfect condition please contact me within 7 working days.  In the event that the error is mine, I will offer you the choice of a replacement or a full refund, I will pay any return postage.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds  
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact me at woodulikenz@xtra.co.nz.

Sale items  
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

 Exchanges

Orders that result in a return for any other reason, e.g. wrong item ordered, would like a different style or timber choice  etc., will incur return shipping charges. Such returns must be in new condition with original packaging. Any refund processed will be less the original shipping fee.

 Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
